About Sarah Evans Glass Art

Stained glass has always held a special place in my heart. As a child, I would often find myself at my father’s side, watching as he carefully cut, shaped, and soldered glass into glowing works of art. He created beautiful lamps, delicate suncatchers, and, each Christmas, the most wonderful stained glass angel lapel pins. Those early memories of working alongside him laid the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of stained glass.
Years later, after relocating back to the area where I grew up, my father handed me boxes of his old stained glass supplies. As I sorted through the vibrant, colorful glass pieces, I felt a deep sense of connection to my dad, to my past, and to the joy of creating. That moment rekindled a spark, and Sarah Evans Glass Art was born.
Each piece I create is a blend of inspiration from those early days and my own love for art and design. Thank you for visiting sarahevansglassart.com and taking the time to explore my work. If you choose to bring one of my pieces into your home, I truly hope it brings you the same joy I felt while creating it.
About the Artist

My stained glass work is a natural extension of my passion for both art and design. I studied Fine Arts at the University of Waterloo, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, and later completed a Diploma in Graphic Design from Fanshawe College. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in visual composition, colour theory, and creative expression — all of which continue to influence my glass art today.
When I’m not in the studio, I’m spending time with my wonderful husband and our three beautiful children. We’re fortunate to call Bath, Ontario home, a peaceful and inspiring place that continues to fuel my creativity.
Thank you for supporting handmade art and for being a part of this creative journey.
